Virat Kohli rented space in Kishore Kumar’s Mumbai bungalow from Juhu
The former Indian captain surely has a lot of plans to expand his chain of restaurants all around and now he is ready to launch his resto-bar in the city of dreams. According to reports, Kohli recently rented a large part of legendary singer Kishore Kumar’s Juhu bungalow, “Gouri Kunj”. The late singer’s family members own the Juhu property. And now the cricketer will launch the fourth joint One8 in India in this premise.

Amit Kumar, son of Kishore Kumar, confirmed all the assumptions and said that Virat Kohli took space for 5 years. During a chat with ETimes, Amit Kumar shared, “We have rented the space from Virat for 5 years.” According to this report, Kohli met Leena Chandavarkar’s son, Sumeet, a few months ago, and talks to rent out part of the property then began.

One8 Commune will soon open in Mumbai
The resto-bar will be accessible to people at all times now. Currently, the Juhu Bungalow is undergoing work and additions to elevate the space. According to multiple reports, One8 Commune will open in Mumbai by next month. Indeed, it is mentioned in One8 Commune’s Instagram bio that the new branch will be opening very soon, ‘Juhu, Mumbai #ComingSoon’. This will be the 4th branch of One8 Commune in India.
The space in Juhu rented by Virat previously housed another restaurant, ‘B Mumbai’.
