Hamilton will soon welcome a new Mary Brown’s location with the opening of the fried chicken franchise at CF Lime Ridge Mall.
Mary Brown’s Chicken will be located next to Mucho Burrito on the ground floor near entrance number one to the mall.
The Canadian franchise began in 1969 in Newfoundland and now has nearly 200 locations across the country.
The menu includes chicken sandwiches, house coleslaw, taters and the signature fried chicken which is available in meals from two to thirty pieces.
Mary Brown’s Chicken claims that its success over the years is due to the development of its own proprietary cookers.
Rather than pressure frying, which is the industry standard, their cookers use heat to seal in juiciness and flavor and give chicken its delicious natural golden color.
“Mary Brown’s is real healthy comfort food, freshly prepared daily,” the Canadian restaurant chain says on its website. “It always has been that way – and it always will be. We won’t settle for less.

The CF Lime Ridge Mall is expected to follow mall hours of operation, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
