Wood first joined GPS Hospitality in 2015 as Director of Operations for the Northern Michigan region, which included 29 restaurants and under his leadership generated six consecutive years of sales and EBITDA growth, as well as the top 3 on GPS’s Drive for Success dashboard for six years. in a row.

With more than 35 years of experience running QSR restaurants, Wood spent 15 years with an area Taco Bell franchisee, growing his footprint from eight to more than 70 restaurants. In 1999, Wood transitioned to a Michigan-based Burger King franchise group, and as Operations Manager, he was instrumental in implementing business plans and structuring a roadmap. internally for the company’s values ​​and priorities.
